Old acting clips of Dr. Zee Khan, currently one of the most talked-about contestants on Tamasha Season 5, have resurfaced on social media, drawing renewed attention to his career in television more than a decade ago.
Dr. Zee Khan, whose real name is Sikandar Zaman Khan, is an MBBS doctor, actor, host and digital creator. He has built a substantial following on social media, with about 1.8 million followers on TikTok. He is currently among the contestants of Tamasha Season 5, which is hosted by Adnan Siddiqui and airs on ARY Digital.
Since entering the reality show, Dr. Zee Khan has repeatedly attracted attention for his outspoken personality, entertaining moments and clashes with fellow contestants. His growing popularity on Tamasha 5 has also prompted viewers to revisit his earlier work in television.
According to reports, Dr. Zee Khan appeared in dramas broadcast by PTV and private television channels around 14 to 15 years ago. Clips from that period have recently begun circulating online, offering viewers a glimpse of his acting career before he became widely known as a doctor and social media creator.
One of his notable early roles was Roshan, the son of actor Farhan Ali Agha, in PTV’s Thora Sa Aasman, written by Umera Ahmed. His television work also included appearances in other productions, while he later participated in a reality show that he reportedly went on to win.
Dr. Zee Khan has previously explained that he eventually stepped away from the entertainment industry because of the stigma he associated with the term “Marasi” being used for people working in showbiz.
