Attaullah Tarar Says Spantik Rescue Team Resumes Mission, Heads Toward Camp 2

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Rescue teams have resumed their ascent toward Camp 2 after improved weather conditions allowed the operation to continue.

The Spantik rescue operation has resumed after weather conditions improved, with the rescue team departing Base Camp and heading toward Camp 2, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said Tuesday.

In a post on X, Tarar said the team had once again set out from Base Camp and was moving carefully toward Camp 2 as part of the ongoing rescue effort.

“The team is moving carefully and will continue the operation as conditions permit,” Tarar said.

He also expressed hope for the safety and success of the rescuers as they continue their mission in the mountainous terrain.

The latest development comes after weather conditions had previously affected the rescue effort. With conditions improving, the team has resumed its movement toward higher camp levels.

Tarar urged prayers for the rescue team’s safety and success as the operation continues.
