Kakakhel elders pledge collective efforts for education, health, employment and welfare while strengthening unity within the community.
WANA: Senior elders of the Kakakhel tribe have unanimously supported the establishment of the Kakakhel Welfare Society, describing it as an important step toward promoting community welfare, unity and collective development.
During a meeting of Kakakhel elders, participants announced their full cooperation to establish and activate the welfare society. They expressed their commitment to promoting joint efforts to address issues affecting the tribe, particularly in education, health, employment, youth development and other areas of collective concern.
The elders said unity, consultation and an organized collective platform are essential for the progress of any community in the modern era. They said the welfare society would provide Kakakhel community members with an organized platform to highlight collective issues and work together toward their resolution.
They said elders would encourage and extend possible support to every individual or group that contributes positively and constructively to ending the community’s difficulties and improving public welfare.
The participants stressed the importance of putting collective interests above personal differences. They said greater cooperation and mutual consultation were necessary to address challenges facing the community effectively.
The elders also particularly encouraged young people to participate in positive activities through the society’s platform and play an active role in the development of the tribe. They said educated and talented youth are valuable assets to any society and that practical measures were needed to guide and encourage them.
The elders expressed hope that the Kakakhel Welfare Society would play an effective role in expanding welfare activities across different areas, supporting deserving families, improving educational opportunities and addressing collective community issues.
They also pledged to bring all members of the tribe together and strengthen an environment of unity, consensus and mutual cooperation so that the Kakakhel community could move toward greater development and prosperity.
The meeting concluded with a special prayer for the success of the Kakakhel Welfare Society, unity and prosperity of the tribe, and peace and stability in South Waziristan.
