Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Gold prices in Pakistan are closely associated with movements in international bullion markets and fluctuations in the value of the U.S. dollar. Changes in currency values can influence the domestic price of gold, particularly as international gold is traded in U.S. dollars.

Market rates can also change during the day in response to developments in the global gold market and currency movements. Buyers and sellers should therefore confirm the prevailing rate with local jewellers or bullion dealers before making a transaction.

The Rs456,500 per tola rate applies to 24-karat gold, while the lower rate for 22-karat gold reflects its lower gold purity.
