Mohammad Rizwan recalls Abrar Ahmed’s long-held ambition of becoming the world’s No. 1 T20 bowler and praises his hard work, hunger and belief.
Pakistan middle-order batter and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has shared an emotional message congratulating Abrar Ahmed after the leg-spinner reached the No. 1 spot in the world T20 bowling rankings.
Rizwan recalled the days when Abrar used to talk about becoming the world’s No. 1 bowler despite being nowhere near the top of the rankings at the time.
In his message, Rizwan said he still remembers Abrar speaking about his ambition and believes he personally witnessed the hard work, hunger and determination that helped the spinner turn that dream into reality.
Rizwan highlighted Abrar’s commitment to his goals, noting that he never stopped working hard despite the challenges along the way.
Expressing his pride in the achievement, Rizwan said Abrar had first dreamed of reaching the top, then worked for it and ultimately achieved it.
“Tum ne yeh khwab dekha, is ke liye mehnat ki aur isay hasil kar liya, Alhamdulillah,” Rizwan wrote.
