DG ISPR says 13 terrorists were killed during a clearance operation in Shaban, while six others were eliminated in separate intelligence-based operations in Kech and Quetta West.
ISLAMABAD: Security Forces have killed 19 terrorists in separate operations in Balochistan, including 13 Indian-sponsored militants during an ongoing clearance operation in Shaban, District Quetta, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In a statement posted on X, DG ISPR said intelligence agencies had reported the presence of multiple hideouts of what the military described as Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khawarij and Fitna Al Hindustan in the general area of Shaban, posing a threat to the local population.

Security Forces launched the clearance operation in the area on Sept. 21, 2026, to protect residents and eliminate the reported terrorist threat.
According to ISPR, troops effectively engaged the militants and cleared multiple terrorist hideouts. Following an intense exchange of fire, 13 terrorists were killed. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the cleared hideouts.
ISPR said the clearance operation would continue until the complete neutralization of the threat in the area.
In separate engagements on Sept. 22 and 23, Security Forces conducted pre-emptive intelligence-based operations in District Kech and District Quetta West.
During those operations, troops engaged the terrorists in intense exchanges of fire, resulting in the deaths of six more terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered, according to ISPR.
The military said Subedar Muhammad Jamil, 39, a resident of Taunsa Sharif in District Dera Ghazi Khan, was also killed during the exchange of fire. ISPR described him as a “son of the soil” who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and embraced martyrdom.
The latest operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” which was approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
ISPR said Security Forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eliminating what it described as foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
The statement comes as security operations continue in Balochistan against militant hideouts and networks.
