KP Terror Attacks Draw Condemnation From Lawmakers and Senators

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Lawmakers and senators condemn recent terrorism incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and criticize the provincial government over its response to the security situation.

Several lawmakers and senators have condemned recent terrorism incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and criticized the provincial government over what they described as a lack of seriousness in addressing the deteriorating security situation.

Speaking about the incidents, Amir Muqam condemned terrorism in the province and alleged that the provincial government was not serious about eliminating terrorism.

Referring to a recent incident in Kohat, Ikhtiar Wali Khan described it as a tragic terrorist attack. He criticized Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying the chief minister appeared to have no regard for his constitutional responsibilities.

“What kind of chief minister is this?” Ikhtiar Wali Khan asked, according to the statement. He also alleged that the chief minister’s priorities were different from addressing the province’s security challenges.

“Provinces are not run by staging dramas and watching films,” he said.

Samar Haroon Bilour also criticized what she described as the chief minister’s lack of seriousness under the prevailing circumstances. She said it was regrettable to issue a call for a march toward Islamabad despite terrorism incidents in the province.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi condemned the terrorism incidents and alleged that the provincial government had shown little concern for terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said police and other law enforcement agencies were continuing to make sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

Ali Khan Yousafzai raised further questions about the provincial government’s response. He alleged that the chief minister did not attend the funerals of terrorism victims and claimed that the provincial police had been left without adequate support.

“Our question is: Where did Rs804 billion go?” he said.

Arbab Khizar Hayat also criticized the provincial government, saying Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing serious security challenges while the government was focused on organizing a march toward Islamabad. He further alleged that the provincial government had completed its tenure.
