MoIB Urges Necessary Legal Action Over Alleged Violation of Law and X Rules

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has endorsed Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s call for necessary legal action over an alleged violation of law and platform rules.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has backed Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s call for necessary legal action over an alleged violation of law and rules on the social media platform X.

In a post on X, the Ministry stated that necessary legal action should be taken for violations of law and rules, as highlighted by Tarar.

The ministry also tagged X’s official support and safety accounts in its post, signaling its support for the minister’s request for action on the matter.

The development follows Tarar’s earlier post in which he called for action against an X account that he alleged was posting promotional videos related to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

Tarar said the U.S. Department of State had designated the BLA and its offshoots as terrorist organizations. He further alleged that the account in question was promoting the organization in violation of law and X rules and called for the account to be taken down and for strict action to be initiated.
