Bushra Ansari Reveals Daughter Nariman’s Emotional Struggles Over Childhood Upbringing

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Bushra Ansari reflects on her daughter Nariman’s experiences, explaining how lessons about obedience and good behaviour may affect personal boundaries in relationships.

Pakistani actress and television host Bushra Ansari has opened up about her daughter Nariman’s emotional experiences, recalling how being raised to always behave well may have influenced her ability to navigate difficult relationships.

The veteran entertainer discussed the subject during an appearance on the morning television programme Good Morning Pakistan, where she was joined by her friend and colleague Arshad Mehmood. During the conversation, Bushra recalled a discussion in which Nariman expressed concerns about the lessons she had learned during childhood.

According to Bushra, her daughter told her that being taught to always be a good child had come at a personal cost. The actress explained that she had associated good behaviour with respect, obedience and good manners, believing these qualities were essential to raising a well-mannered child.

Bushra said she had never received complaints about Nariman during parent-teacher meetings at school or college. She recalled that her daughter had generally behaved well and tried to meet the expectations placed on her.

However, Bushra acknowledged that Nariman had faced difficulties in her relationships with her in-laws. She said her daughter had taken care of family members, including her aunt, but had not received the same level of consideration in return.

The actress also recounted an interaction between Nariman and her therapist that offered a different perspective on her upbringing.

According to Bushra, the therapist asked Nariman who had taught her to be so obedient. Nariman reportedly replied that her mother had encouraged her to be a good child.

Reflecting on the exchange, Bushra explained that she had always considered obedience and respect important values. Her account highlighted the difference between teaching children to be considerate and helping them recognise when they need to establish boundaries in their relationships.

The discussion also touched on differences between Bushra’s daughters. She compared Nariman’s temperament with that of her other daughter, Meera, saying Nariman had generally been obedient, while raising Meera had presented different challenges.

Bushra’s reflections offer a personal perspective on parenting and the expectations placed on children as they grow up. Her account also raises questions about how traditional ideas of good behaviour can shape adult relationships, particularly when consideration and compromise are not reciprocated.
