Xiaomi’s rumoured Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a battery exceeding 10,000mAh, a nearly 7-inch display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset.
Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a battery exceeding 10,000mAh and a display measuring around 7 inches, according to a new leak pointing to major upgrades in battery capacity and screen size.
The information was shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, who reportedly revealed specifications for an upcoming mid-range smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. Although the tipster did not identify the device by name, the reported specifications suggest it could be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.
Xiaomi has not officially announced the smartphone or confirmed any of the leaked details.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Could Feature a Battery Exceeding 10,000mAh
The biggest potential upgrade is the battery. According to the leak, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a battery with a capacity of more than 10,000mAh, exceeding the 9,000mAh battery found in its predecessor, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
Such an increase could make the new model attractive to users who prioritise extended battery life, particularly those who frequently play games, stream videos or use their phones throughout the day.
However, the actual battery capacity, charging speed and real-world battery performance have not been confirmed. The larger battery alone does not establish how long the device will last between charges.
Nearly 7-Inch Display Could Offer More Screen Space
The leaked specifications also point to a display measuring approximately 7 inches. An earlier rumour published in July suggested that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a 7-inch screen with 2K resolution.
If accurate, the larger display could provide additional screen space for watching videos, gaming and browsing content. A 2K resolution could also deliver sharper visuals, although Xiaomi has yet to confirm the panel size or resolution.
For comparison, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max features a 6.83-inch display. The reported specifications suggest that Xiaomi could make the screen slightly larger in its next-generation model.
Minimalist Design and MediaTek Chipset
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also expected to feature a minimalist design. A render leaked in July showed a smartphone with a horizontal, pill-shaped camera bar on the rear panel.
However, the final design, camera configuration and colour options remain unconfirmed.
The rumoured device is also linked to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max reportedly uses the same processor, suggesting that Xiaomi could retain some existing hardware while focusing on battery and display upgrades. The latest leak does not establish whether the new model will receive any additional processor or hardware changes.
Xiaomi Has Yet to Confirm Launch Details
Xiaomi has not announced the Redmi Turbo 6 Max’s launch date, pricing or complete specifications. The reported battery capacity, display size, resolution and chipset should therefore be treated as unconfirmed information.
