Laiba Suicide Case: Authorities Recover Rs21 Million From Suspect Nauman

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Authorities have recovered Rs21 million from Nauman as investigators examine his background, pursue a separate Mansehra fraud case and reopen the FIR related to student Laiba’s death.

Authorities have recovered Rs21 million from Nauman, the suspect in the case involving the suicide of student Laiba, as investigators continue collecting his records and examining a separate fraud case registered in Mansehra.

According to sources within the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), officials are seeking the suspect’s records from relevant institutions as part of the ongoing investigation. However, sources said no record of Nauman was available at Islamabad’s Excise and Taxation Department.

Police officials have also disclosed that Nauman is wanted in a separate fraud case registered in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has reportedly been declared a proclaimed offender in that case.

According to sources, Nauman will be handed over to Mansehra police after the recovery process is completed. The transfer is expected to allow local police to proceed with the separate fraud case.

Meanwhile, the previously closed first information report (FIR) concerning Laiba’s death has been reopened, allowing investigators to pursue the case further.

The reopening marks another development in the investigation as authorities continue examining the circumstances surrounding the student’s death and gathering information about the suspect’s background and possible involvement in other cases.

The recovery of Rs21 million is among the latest reported developments, but officials have not yet publicly disclosed further details about the amount, including its source or its precise connection to the allegations under investigation.

Details about the nature of the financial allegations, the evidence collected so far and the status of the separate fraud case also remain unclear based on the information currently available.

The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations against Nauman have not been established as proven in court. Further details are expected as authorities continue their inquiries and take action in the cases involving the suspect.
