Prince Harry Sadie Frost Sue Daily Mail Over Alleged Privacy Violations

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

LONDON: Prince Harry, actress Sadie Frost and several other prominent public figures are suing the Daily Mail alleging the newspaper unlawfully invaded their private lives over a decade. The case is currently being heard at London’s High Court and centers on claims of widespread privacy violations between 2000 and 2010.

Sadie Frost, 60, told the court that she was subjected to phone hacking, landline surveillance and being followed much of it linked to media coverage of her relationship with former husband Jude Law. She said the alleged intrusion caused deep humiliation and contributed to health problems, including post natal depression that required medical treatment. It felt like there was a price on my head Frost said in her statement.

She rejected suggestions that friends or family leaked personal information arguing that the details published could only have been obtained through unlawful methods.

The lawsuit also includes claims from singer Elton John actress Elizabeth Hurley and five other public figures. Supporting statements from actors Billie Piper and Patsy Kensit were submitted to the court.

Associated Newspapers, publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday denies any wrongdoing. The company argues the claims are time-barred and says information was obtained through legitimate journalistic sources.
