PSL 11: Steve Smith Signs with Newly Launched Sialkot Stallions

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

SPORTS DESK: (Click Pakistan) The newly launched Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Sialkot Stallions, has directly signed Australian batting star Steve Smith, sources confirmed. Smith reportedly chose the Stallions due to an attractive offer and the franchise’s strong management structure.

The Australian international, who recently impressed in the Big Bash League, is expected to add significant firepower to the Stallions’ batting lineup. In a related development, former Australian captain Tim Paine has been appointed as the franchise’s head coach, an announcement made via the team’s official social media channels.

Meanwhile, the other new PSL franchise, Hyderabad, has appointed former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie as its head coach. Gillespie brings extensive international experience, which Hyderabad hopes will strengthen its bowling attack for the upcoming season.

The PSL’s 11th season also marks a record in franchise valuations. The Sialkot Stallions’ ownership rights were acquired by the Ozi Group for a reported 1.85 billion Pakistani rupees for a 10-year term, making it the most expensive PSL franchise in history. The move underscores the growing financial and competitive stakes in Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket tournament.

PSL 11 is expected to kick off later this year, with fans eagerly awaiting action from both the established and newly launched teams.
