The markets were adorned to make the city look pretty and historical and religious places, especially gurdwaras, were specially cleaned and beautified which gave the visiting dignitary a pleasant welcome.
In his visit, Singh praised the Sargodha administration on its careful preparations and reception. Their work and collaboration of the local authorities were very good, he said, and thanked to the warm welcome.
According to the officials, the visit would enhance interaction with the local communities and serve as a way of emphasizing the infrastructure development efforts in the city. To the citizens and business communities, the visit was also welcome since it offered greater security and orderliness.
