PESHAWAR: (Roshan Khan)- A high-level meeting of the Health Department, chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Suhail Afridi, approved the establishment of a 1,000-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital in Malakand Division.
CM Suhail Afridi directed officials to proceed with the project in consultation with elected representatives from the Malakand Division and initiate the land acquisition process for the proposed hospital.
The new facility is expected to provide major medical relief to the people of Malakand, offering doorstep access to high-quality healthcare. The hospital will include emergency services, cardiac care, and kidney transplant facilities, reducing the need for patients to travel to larger cities for treatment.
Afridi emphasized that the project will strengthen the healthcare sector, enhance public confidence, and ensure that citizens have access to advanced medical services locally.
