COLOMBO: The Pakistan national cricket team secured a commanding 102 run victory over the Namibia national cricket team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup marking their largest win by runs in the tournament’s history.

Batting first Pakistan posted an imposing total of 199 driven by a brilliant century from Saibzada Farhan. His aggressive innings anchored the batting lineup and laid the foundation for a dominant performance.

Chasing a challenging 200-run target Namibia struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. The Namibian side was bowled out for just 97 runs unable to build meaningful partnerships under sustained pressure.

The emphatic win not only ensured Pakistan’s qualification for the Super 8 stage but also set a new benchmark for the team’s biggest victory by runs in T20 World Cup competition. Previously Pakistan’s largest margin of victory was an 84 run win against West Indies in the 2014 World T20.

With this result, Pakistan demonstrated both batting firepower and bowling precision, strengthening their position as serious contenders in the tournament. The Super 8 lineup is now complete, with Pakistan carrying strong momentum into the next phase of the competition.
