Political Leaders Criticise PTI Over X Post on Hamid Raza

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: A statement posted on X regarding Sahibzada Hamid Raza has sparked criticism of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) from several political leaders.

The post shared from Hamid Raza’s X account, questioned whether any allied leader would visit him in jail, noting that he has spent more than 111 days in detention. The message quickly drew reactions from government and opposition figures.

Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik said PTI appeared to revolve around a single personality alleging that insufficient attention was being given to detained allies. He argued that the party’s priorities seemed narrowly focused.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Opposition Leader Dr Ibadullah echoed similar concerns stating that political movements should value sacrifices made by leaders and workers alike.

Hina Parvez Butt of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) criticised PTI’s leadership style while Sehar Kamran of the Pakistan Peoples Party described the situation as reflective of personality-driven politics.

PTI has not issued an official response to the remarks. The exchange highlights continuing political tensions surrounding detained leaders and party dynamics.
