Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has strongly emphasized that Pakistan’s national security is non-negotiable and that the protection of every inch of the country is the collective responsibility of all citizens.
In a statement CM Suhail Afridi condemned provocations along the Pakistan Afghanistan border and any form of external aggression. He said that under no circumstances will compromises be allowed regarding the safety and security of border areas. The protection of national territory is a sacred duty and no one will be allowed to threaten it he asserted.
Referring to the ongoing tensions along the border he stated that the provincial government is in continuous coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of local populations. Measures are being implemented to safeguard the lives and property of residents in border districts.
Suhail Afridi also assured that the people living in border areas will not be left alone under any circumstances. He directed administrative officials to remain alert and fully prepared to respond promptly to any emergency situation. The Chief Minister reiterated that the provincial government’s top priority is the protection of its citizens while maintaining law and order along the sensitive frontier.
