Over 3,000 Police Deployed in Islamabad for Youm e Ali Security

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Islamabad Capital Territory Police have finalised extensive security arrangements for Youm e Ali deploying more than 3,000 officers and personnel to ensure the safety of processions and religious gatherings in the federal capital.

According to an official statement, comprehensive measures have been implemented to maintain peace and order during the commemorations. Muhammad Jawad Tariq, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, said that participants will only be allowed to join the processions through designated entry points after passing through strict security screening.

Walk-through gates, metal detectors, and body search points have been installed to check participants before they enter the procession routes. Authorities have also sealed all streets and lanes located along the main routes of the processions to ensure effective security control and prevent any unauthorized access.

In addition, snipers have been deployed on rooftops along the procession routes to monitor the situation and respond quickly to any potential threat. Special security checks will also be conducted at all entry and exit points of the city.

Police officials stated that these precautionary measures aim to provide a safe environment for mourners participating in Youm e Ali processions and religious gatherings across Islamabad.
