Iran’s National Security Council Secretary-General, Ali Larijani, has issued an open letter to Muslim countries, posted on his X account, warning them about regional tensions and alliances.
In the six-point letter, Larijani stated that during negotiations, Iran faced attacks from the United States and Israel aimed at breaking the country. These attacks killed the Supreme Commander, several civilians, and military leaders. Despite these challenges, no major Islamic country stood firmly with Iran, yet the Iranian people prevailed.
He emphasized that Iran continues to resist what he called the “big and small devils,” referring to the US and Israel. Larijani questioned some Islamic countries’ stance, citing the Prophet Muhammad’s saying: “Whoever hears the call for help from a Muslim and does not respond is not a Muslim.”
Larijani criticized countries that have labeled Iran as an enemy for targeting US bases or interests on their soil. He asked the Muslim world to consider its future carefully, warning that America is not loyal and Israel is an adversary. He added that a strong, united Muslim community could ensure security, progress, and freedom for all nations.
Other recent headlines include decreasing US support for Israel amid the Iran war, India negotiating passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and Pakistan’s successful airstrikes against terrorist infrastructure in Afghanistan.
