Prosecution returns interim challans in three drug cases against Anmol Pinky, directing police to add missing legal and acquittal records.
KARACHI: The prosecution has raised objections to interim charge sheets submitted by police in three drug-related cases involving accused Anmol Pinky, directing investigators to address missing legal details before the documents are resubmitted.
The cases came under discussion before the Judicial Magistrate South court after police submitted interim challans to the prosecution for review.
The Deputy District Public Prosecutor identified several deficiencies in the documents and returned them to police with instructions to make the required amendments and provide additional records.
One of the key objections was the absence of details regarding proceedings to declare Anmol Pinky a proclaimed offender. The prosecutor directed police to provide complete information about the legal proceedings concerning her status and incorporate those details into the revised challans.
The prosecution also objected to the lack of information about accused persons who had already been acquitted in the cases. Police were instructed to include details of those acquittals and attach copies of the relevant court orders to the case records.
The prosecutor directed the investigating authorities to address all objections before submitting the revised interim challans for further review.
The documents will be resubmitted to the prosecution after the required corrections and supporting records have been incorporated.
