Federal Information Minister refutes rumors of concessions, calls them baseless and politically motivated
Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Ata Tarar has firmly rejected rumors of any deal involving former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. In a statement, he emphasized that neither a deal has been made nor any concession granted to Khan, who is currently facing legal sentences from the courts.
Tarar described any suggestion of leniency or compromise as completely false and unfounded. He also stressed that Khan’s health should not be exploited for political gain, highlighting the sensitivity of the matter.
This is not the first time the Information Minister has dismissed such reports. Previously, he labeled similar claims regarding Khan as baseless, urging media and political actors to refrain from spreading misinformation.
Tarar’s clarification comes amid persistent speculation in political circles about potential negotiations with Khan, which he now categorically denies.
