BISE Rawalpindi releases revised schedule for postponed matric exams

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

BISE Rawalpindi confirms new timetable for postponed matric papers, ensuring unchanged centres and exam conditions.

RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced a revised schedule for postponed matriculation annual examination papers, officials said on Saturday, aiming to restore normalcy for thousands of affected students across the region. The updated timetable comes after earlier disruptions linked to Iran–US talks that led to the deferment of key examination papers.

According to the board notification, the Urdu paper will now be conducted on May 2 during the morning session. The Geography paper has also been rescheduled and will be held on the same day in the second session, allowing the board to adjust the academic calendar without extending the overall examination period significantly.

A BISE Rawalpindi spokesperson confirmed that there would be no changes to previously assigned examination centers or timing structures. “The papers will be conducted as per the already allocated centers and time slots,” the spokesperson stated, emphasizing continuity in examination arrangements despite the revised dates.

Education authorities said the rescheduling decision was taken to minimize academic disruption and ensure that students are not placed under prolonged uncertainty. Officials urged candidates to strictly follow the updated timetable and continue their preparation in accordance with the new schedule to avoid confusion on examination days.
