PESHAWAR: (Anwarzeb Khan) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi announced that the Civil Government, Pakistan Army and other Law enforcement agencies are working in complete coordination to maintain law and order in the province.
Afridi said the restoration of peace is a shared responsibility and can only be achieved through collective efforts among all relevant institutions. He emphasized that ensuring public safety remains the government’s top priority.
“The civil administration, armed forces and law enforcement agencies are on the same page regarding the security situation,” Sohail Afridi said while addressing officials during a security review meeting. He added that the challenges posed by terrorism and criminal activities require a unified and consistent response.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the government has strengthened coordination mechanisms to enhance intelligence sharing and operational effectiveness. He also praised the sacrifices of security personnel, acknowledging their role in maintaining stability and protecting citizens.
CM urged the public to cooperate with authorities and remain vigilant, stating that community support is crucial in overcoming security threats. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring lasting peace, economic stability and social development in the region.
