Sargodha Factory Area Police have successfully traced a blind murder case, marking a significant breakthrough in criminal investigation. On January 2, 2026, police received information that an unidentified injured man had been brought to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Initial medical examination revealed severe torture marks on the victim’s body, indicating that he had been brutally assaulted with a sharp weapon.
As both the victim and the suspect were initially unknown, the case posed a serious challenge for investigators. A case was registered against unknown accused under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code, and a comprehensive investigation was launched from all possible angles.
By employing a combination of modern technology and traditional investigative methods, Factory Area Police successfully traced the crime. During the investigation, police arrested the main suspect, identified as Asghar alias Chosni. According to police sources, the accused confessed to killing the victim following a dispute over the exchange of narcotics.
Police officials stated that the accused will be presented before the court and punished according to the law.
