Family Breaks Silence on Dr Maah Noor Case — Truth Behind Viral Claims Finally Revealed

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

QUETTA: The family of Dr Maah Noor, who was injured in a recent acid attack in Quetta, has categorically rejected reports circulating on social media about the circumstances surrounding the incident, describing them as false, misleading, and unsupported by facts.

In a statement issued to clarify the situation, the family said that several narratives being shared online are inaccurate and have created confusion regarding the case. They specifically denied claims suggesting that Dr Maah Noor had been subjected to harassment or that the attack was linked to her alleged refusal of a marriage proposal.

According to the family, there is no truth to such reports, and no official statement has been released by them previously regarding the incident. They stressed that information currently circulating on various social media platforms does not reflect the facts of the case.

The family appealed to the public, social media users, and media organisations to refrain from spreading or relying on unverified information. They warned that speculation and misinformation could hinder public understanding of the incident and cause unnecessary distress to those affected.

The clarification comes as public interest in the case continues to grow, with numerous unconfirmed claims and theories emerging online following the acid attack that left Dr Maah Noor injured.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Interior Minister Ziaullah Langove visited Civil Hospital Quetta to inquire about the health of Abdul Razzaq Tareen, who was injured while attempting to help Dr Maah Noor during the attack.

During his visit, the minister reviewed Tareen’s medical condition and praised his courage, describing him as a real-life hero for risking his own safety to assist the victim. He later visited Abdul Razzaq Tareen at his residence and expressed his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
