Google has joined Pakistan’s August 14 celebrations with a special green-and-white Doodle displayed on its Pakistan homepage.
Google has marked Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a special Doodle, replacing its familiar homepage logo with artwork inspired by the country’s national colours.
The special design appeared on Google’s Pakistan homepage on Friday, Aug. 14, adding a digital dimension to Independence Day celebrations being held across the country and by Pakistani communities overseas.
Instead of the company’s standard multicoloured logo, users in Pakistan were greeted with a green-and-white design reflecting the colours of the national flag. The tribute places Pakistan’s national identity in front of millions of people using Google’s search service.
