Islamabad:(Syed Muhammad Yaseen Hashmi)- A high-level inter-ministerial meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Pakistan and the European Union.
The meeting focused on promoting trade, exploring new avenues of economic cooperation, and deepening the Pakistan–European Union economic partnership. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that the GSP Plus scheme is an important framework for mutually beneficial trade between Pakistan and the European Union, and that making full use of this facility is essential for Pakistan’s economic growth.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Commerce, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, and the Secretaries of Commerce, Human Rights, and Human Resource Development, along with senior officials from relevant federal and provincial institutions.
