Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced three key conditions for a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict with Israel and the United States. In a statement shared on social media the Iranian leader said that Iran’s constitutional and nuclear rights must be recognized, the country must be compensated for damages caused during the conflict, and global powers must guarantee that no future aggression will be carried out against Iran.
Pezeshkian also revealed that he recently spoke with Vladimir Putin and Shehbaz Sharif reaffirming Iran’s commitment to peace and stability in the region.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a strong warning, stating that if Iranian ports are targeted, ports in other regional countries could also come under attack. The group added that no nation would be able to isolate itself from the crisis and declared that Iran would continue its operations until it achieves victory.
Separately, officials from the Pentagon told an American newspaper that deploying warships to the Strait of Hormuz would be extremely dangerous under the current circumstances.
