Pakistan’s capital is set to host a public football celebration as the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and the district administration have announced a live screening of the FIFA World Cup final at D-Chowk on Sunday night.
The authorities said football fans will be able to watch the highly anticipated Spain vs Argentina final on what has been described as Pakistan’s largest outdoor screen. The live broadcast is scheduled to begin at 11 p.m.
The event is being organized to provide families and football enthusiasts with a festive atmosphere in the heart of Islamabad. In addition to the giant screen, organizers have planned food stalls and other facilities to enhance the viewing experience for visitors.
Officials have urged attendees to cooperate with traffic management authorities and strictly follow parking guidelines issued by the traffic police to ensure smooth movement and public safety throughout the event.
