Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to introduce the School Leader App for digital monitoring of schools.
According to sources, the Elementary and Secondary Education Department will formally implement the app starting 16th March. The app will allow online monitoring of school leaders’ attendance, performance, and school visits.
Initially, the app will run on a pilot basis for one month to improve educational discipline. All school leaders will be required to report their activities, school visits, and reports directly through the app.
The app also includes features for recording student academic performance and Parent-Teacher Committee (PTC) meetings. School leaders will use their ID and CNIC number as a password for the first login.
Monitoring reports will require uploading time-stamped and GPS-tagged images. Officials stated that strict action will be taken against any school leader who neglects duties or fails to submit reports via the app.
