In a major update ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 West Indies’ Goda Cash Moti and Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani have withdrawn from the tournament.
Goda Cash Moti who was part of Lahore Qalandars’ squad informed the team of his decision citing travel difficulties as the primary reason for his withdrawal. Moti had previously been part of the West Indies squad stranded in India during the recent World Cup. To fill his spot Lahore Qalandars have included Sri Lanka’s Danith Wellalage in their squad.
Meanwhile fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani a member of Islamabad United has also pulled out of PSL 11. Reports indicate that Muzarabani has committed to the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he has signed a contract with Kolkata Knight Riders who have officially confirmed his inclusion in their squad.
The withdrawals of these international players are a significant blow for their respective PSL teams who will now have to adjust their strategies ahead of the tournament. Both Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United have moved quickly to bring in replacements, ensuring that their squads remain competitive.
Fans and analysts are now closely watching how these last-minute changes will impact team performance in PSL 11.
