Mir Raza Death Case Takes Fresh Turn as SSP Inspects Scene With Family

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Investigators are awaiting DNA results as preliminary medical findings raise fresh questions about the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza Ali’s death.

KARACHI: The investigation into the death of Mir Raza Ali has entered a new phase, with SSP Ali Raza visiting the Gulistan-e-Johar site where the deceased was found as investigators await DNA test results and examine preliminary post-mortem findings.

SSP Ali Raza, who is part of the newly constituted investigation team, inspected the location alongside members of Mir Raza’s family. During the visit, he examined the area where the body had been recovered and questioned the gardener who first discovered it.

The development comes as six samples have been submitted to the University of Karachi laboratory for DNA testing. Four samples were reportedly taken from Mir Raza’s body, while two reference samples were obtained from his parents. The laboratory is expected to issue its findings after completing the testing process.

The case has gained renewed attention following Mir Raza’s exhumation and post-mortem on Aug. 8. Preliminary medical findings reportedly showed multiple injuries and signs that investigators are examining as possible evidence of violence.

The report also indicated that the gunshot wound was smaller at the back and wider at the front, suggesting the bullet may have entered from behind. Other reported findings included fractured ribs, injuries to the head and face, and a fracture and wound measuring about 12 centimeters on the right thigh.

Blood traces were also reportedly detected in tissues in the lower part of the body, adding further questions to the investigation.
