NIZAM PUR: Shahana Sikandar made an surprise visit to the Nizam Pur Stand on Monday, Feb. 3, 2026, to assess the employee attendance, revenue collection and quality services delivery to the people.
She also made a close look at the attendance records of staff on duty and the revenue collection system to ascertain transparency and effectiveness during the visit. The authorities at the point briefed her on daily operations, the flow of the passengers and administration.
She also checked the amenities to be offered to the commuters such as cleanliness, seating system and general management of the stand. She also communicated with the staff members and discussed the importance of discipline, punctuality and respectful attitude to passengers.
The officials claim that the inspection was carried out on surprise basis to determine the real working conditions and service standards. She stated that she was completely satisfied with the performance of the staff and services offered to the people after reviewing it.
She instructed her officials to ensure the same standards in the future and also emphasized the fact that the convenience of the people and accountability would be prioritized. The visit was to maintain better service delivery and enhance trust in the people on the transport related facilities.
The inspection was received well by the local commuters who added that the visits would be effective in enhancing services and ensuring the introduction of better management at the terminals.
