NOWSHERA: In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan the District Police of Nowshera held a high level meeting under the leadership of District Police Officer Ahmed Shah at the New DPO Complex conference hall. Senior officials including SDPOs SHOs and relevant officers from all police stations attended the session to discuss security arrangements and crime prevention strategies.
During the meeting Ahmed Shah emphasized that providing a peaceful and secure environment for the public is the top priority during Ramadan. Effective checkpoints have been established at major entry and exit points, and police commandos have been deployed for enhanced patrolling. Security has been intensified during iftar and sehri hours, with additional personnel assigned to major mosques, madrasas, and imambargahs.
The DPO directed all circle officers to engage with PLC members strictly enforce tenancy laws and ensure legal action against violators. Search andstrike operations against habitual criminals continue, along with monitoring of suspects and ensuring bail compliance.
Extra personnel including women police and plainclothes officers have been assigned to crowded markets commercial centers and other key locations. SDPOs and SHOs have been instructed to remain actively present in the field and oversee security measures.
The district police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law order and public safety ensuring that citizens can perform their religious duties in peace and security throughout Ramadan.
