PIMS says specialists from Shifa International Hospital also participated in the eye examination, while the final report will remain confidential under Supreme Court directions.
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has completed a comprehensive medical fitness report following the examination and treatment of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan.
According to a PIMS statement, the PTI founder was brought to the hospital during the night between Aug. 20 and 21 for medical examination and treatment.
The hospital said two specialists from Shifa International Hospital participated in the examination of his eyes. All other medical examinations were conducted by relevant specialists at PIMS, according to the statement.
A medical board comprising doctors from PIMS has now prepared a complete medical fitness report following the examinations.
PIMS said the contents of the medical report would remain confidential in accordance with directions issued by the Supreme Court.
The hospital did not disclose further details about the findings of the medical examination, citing the confidentiality requirements.
