PM Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity following attacks targeting civilian and energy facilities.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned what he described as a “cowardly attack” by the Houthis targeting civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, saying the attacks threaten innocent lives and regional security.

In a post on X, Shehbaz expressed solidarity with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the people of Saudi Arabia.

The prime minister said the attacks had left several people injured and described them as a threat to regional peace and security.

“Pakistan stands in unwavering solidarity” with the Saudi leadership and its people, Shehbaz said, reaffirming Islamabad’s support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

He also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the attacks.
