Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences to UAE Vice President and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum over the death of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of United Arab Emirates Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In a condolence message, the prime minister paid tribute to Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for dedicating his life to the service of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates with dignity and honor.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said Pakistan deeply valued Sheikh Ahmed’s services and would remember his contributions with respect and appreciation.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family and the people of the United Arab Emirates over the bereavement.
The prime minister also prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear the loss.
The condolence message was issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing in Islamabad on Sept. 21, 2026.
