Chief of Air Staff attends ceremony as top-performing cadets receive prestigious awards
KAKUL: The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul hosted the passing out parade of the 153rd Long Course cadets along with participants from other training programs, marking a significant milestone in the careers of future military officers.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu attended the ceremony as the chief guest, underscoring inter-services cohesion and the importance of leadership development within Pakistan’s armed forces.
The parade featured a display of discipline, precision, and professional excellence, reflecting the rigorous training standards upheld at the academy. Graduating cadets, including those from friendly countries, successfully completed their training and joined the ranks of commissioned officers.
During the ceremony, outstanding cadets were recognized for their exceptional performance. Prestigious honors including the Sword of Honour, Presidential Gold Medal, and other distinguished awards were conferred upon those who demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, and physical training.
The event highlighted Pakistan’s continued commitment to producing highly trained and capable military leaders while strengthening defense ties with allied nations through the inclusion of international cadets.
