However, PTV struggled badly with the bat, losing their entire side for 64 in 19.5 overs. Salman Aslam claimed four wickets for six runs, while Aamer Jamal took two for 13 to leave PTV facing a substantial deficit.

Forced to follow on 348 runs behind, PTV showed greater resistance in their second innings. The team reached 177 for two at stumps, with Waqar Hussain unbeaten on 102 and Taimur Khan not out on 63.

Despite the improved performance, PTV remained 171 runs behind with eight wickets in hand at the close of play.
