Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Jeddah on an important official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, upon arrival, he was warmly received at the airport by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq.
The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Foreign Media Musharraf Zaidi.
During his stay in Jeddah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as discussing the regional situation.
It is worth noting that the Prime Minister is on a multi-country visit from April 15 to 18, which includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey.
During his visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, he will meet the leadership of both countries to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional peace and security.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Turkey to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is also expected to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other global leaders.
