ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is set to present a range of industry first artificial intelligence applications at Indus AI Week 2026 Pakistan’s flagship national platform for AI innovation according to a press release issued on Sunday.
The event will spotlight PTCL’s evolution from a conventional telecom operator into an AI-driven technology company supported by global expertise from e&. The initiative reflects the company’s strategy to accelerate scalable and locally relevant AI adoption across Pakistan.
During the summit PTCL will showcase eight practical AI use cases including four solutions powered by e&, three developed by PTCL Business Solutions, and an accessibility focused innovation by ConnectHear. These demonstrations highlight AI’s real world applications across enterprise operations, digital services and inclusive technology ecosystems.
PTCL stated it is investing heavily in next-generation AI infrastructure including high performance GPU systems, to enhance computing power and data processing for advanced AI workloads.
PTCL President and CEO Hatem Bamatraf will deliver a keynote address on converting AI ambition into national impact and participate in a panel discussion alongside e& Enterprise Chief Cloud Officer Mouteih Chaghlil.
Running from February 9 to 15 Indus AI Week 2026 marks Pakistan’s shift from AI dialogue to execution positioning the country as an emerging contributor to the global AI landscape.
