PTI Cries Political Revenge After Dramatic Arrest of Junaid Akbar Khan in Gilgit-Baltistan

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have strongly condemned the arrest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar Khan in the Hunza region of Gilgit-Baltistan, describing the move as “undemocratic” and a clear example of political victimization.
In a strongly worded statement, PTI leader Anwar Zeb Khan said the arrest of a publicly elected political figure was an insult to democratic values and an attack on the public’s right to representation. He added that such actions were aimed at pressuring opposition voices but would not weaken the resolve of PTI workers and leadership.
The statement praised Junaid Akbar Khan as a courageous and ideological leader who has consistently raised his voice for public rights and democratic principles. PTI leaders insisted that arrests and political pressure could not silence what they called a struggle for truth and justice.
Khaleeq ur Rahman, Provincial Health Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also demanded the immediate release of Junaid Akbar Khan and urged federal and Gilgit-Baltistan authorities to stop what he termed retaliatory actions against political opponents.
The arrest has triggered strong reactions among PTI supporters, further intensifying the ongoing political tensions in the country.
