PTI Leaders Denied Meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Raise Health Concerns

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

PTI leaders say access restricted, medical updates unclear despite court directives

RAWALPINDI: Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday voiced concern after being denied a scheduled meeting with party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.

Speaking to media outside the jail, PTI lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha, accompanied by Zameer Shirazi, said they had submitted the names of several party members to prison authorities but had not been granted permission to meet Khan.

Panjotha claimed the party remains unaware of Khan’s current health condition, alleging that he was recently transferred between the jail and a hospital without any official confirmation. He further stated that a third medical procedure had reportedly been carried out, but no details have been shared with the legal team or family.

He also criticized authorities for not approving two doctors nominated under court directives, raising concerns about transparency in medical care.

Meanwhile, Khan’s sisters reportedly reached near Gorakhpur in an attempt to visit him, but faced roadblocks and containers placed along routes leading to the jail.

PTI leaders warned that continued restrictions could escalate tensions and urged authorities to comply with court orders and provide clarity on Khan’s health and access for meetings.
