Doctors say all five newborns are in stable condition and will remain under special medical observation for the next 10 days.
QUETTA: A family in Quetta is celebrating an extraordinary milestone after welcoming quintuplets in a rare multiple birth, bringing immense joy to relatives and well-wishers.
According to doctors, the newborns include three girls and two boys. The couple already had three children, and with the arrival of the five babies, their family has now grown to eight children.
The babies were delivered at a private hospital in Quetta, where they are currently receiving specialized medical care. Hospital officials said the newborns are being closely monitored by a team of doctors to ensure their healthy development during the critical first days of life.
Medical experts explained that the infants will remain in a neonatal care unit for approximately 10 days as a precaution. Such multiple births often require continuous observation because babies born in higher-order pregnancies may need additional medical support after delivery.
Hospital authorities confirmed that all five newborns are in satisfactory condition and are receiving the necessary treatment and care. The parents and family members have expressed happiness over the rare blessing while remaining hopeful for the babies’ continued good health.
