Security Forces Kill 18 Militants in Zhob Operations

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Security forces conducted two successful operations in Zhob District, resulting in the elimination of 18 militants according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operations were carried out on February 24 and 25 as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts.

ISPR stated that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was launched on February 24 after reports of militant presence in the area. During the operation security forces engaged the suspects, killing eight militants. A follow up clearance operation was conducted on February 25 to target remaining elements believed to be hiding in the region.

According to the military’s media wing, troops tracked militant movement across multiple routes and effectively targeted their hideouts. After an exchange of fire ten additional militants were killed. Weapons ammunition and explosive materials were reportedly recovered from the deceased individuals.

The statement added that the militants were allegedly involved in various terrorist activities in the region. Security forces continue to conduct clearance operations to ensure the area is secured and to eliminate any remaining threats.

ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s counterterrorism campaign remains ongoing under the broader national security framework. Authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining stability and combating militancy across the country.
