Lahore’s anti-terrorism court adjourns the bail hearing after prosecutors seek more time to submit the case record.
LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s bail application in a case related to arson and violence.
During the proceedings, the prosecution sought additional time to present the record of the case before the court.
The court accepted the prosecution’s request and adjourned the hearing until Sept. 5.
The prosecution assured the court that the complete case record would be presented at the next hearing.
The proceedings concern allegations of arson and violence, with Qureshi seeking bail in the case. No final decision on his bail application was made during Tuesday’s hearing.
