Shaheen Afridi, Sikandar Raza Accused of Breaching Security During PSL Matches

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

During Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and player Sikandar Raza have reportedly been accused of violating security protocols.

According to a letter by DIG Operations Faisal Kamran addressed to PSL CEO and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the incident occurred on March 28. A liaison officer requested permission for four relatives of Sikandar Raza to visit his hotel room, but the request was denied due to security rules.

Despite this, it is alleged that Shaheen Afridi and Sikandar Raza resisted security staff and escorted the four individuals to Raza’s room on the eighth floor. The guests reportedly stayed there until 1:25 am.

Authorities have termed the matter serious and called for a formal review and strict action to prevent such violations in the future.
