Pakistan and Saudi leadership discuss regional stability, peace initiatives, and stronger economic cooperation during high-level phone conversation.
A high-level diplomatic conversation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has highlighted growing cooperation on regional peace and economic development. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone call to discuss bilateral ties, regional developments, peace efforts, and future economic collaboration.
During the discussion, both leaders reviewed progress regarding the peace agreement between Iran and the United States and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to promote stability across the region.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the Saudi Crown Prince on the signing of the Islamabad Peace Agreement and appreciated the support extended by Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries in advancing peace initiatives.
The Prime Minister also praised Saudi Arabia’s role in creating conditions for dialogue between Iran and the United States, calling the efforts significant for regional security and stability.
Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on the historic peace agreement and also recognized the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in supporting the peace process.
