LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology Dr. Allama Raghib Hussain Naeemi in Lahore on Saturday to discuss matters related to the council, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting was announced in a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Press Wing under reference No. 442/2026 on Oct. 17, 2026.
According to the statement, the discussions focused on matters concerning the Council of Islamic Ideology. However, the press release did not provide further details about the specific issues discussed during the meeting.
